Tips on how to enjoy Mtwapa beaches

Mtwapa beaches are secure, but still, exercise caution and be watchful of your property.

The beaches are not very clean, and in some stretches they are rocky, while others are loaded with broken shells that may hurt your feet.

So carry with you comfortable beach shoes.

Mombasa is hot; pack sunglasses, a hat/cap, drinking water.

You can also come with snacks and chairs or just picnic on the beach.

All the beaches are free but carry along 50-100 Kshs if you drive to give the car attendants on some beaches.
